About Me

Married for 16 years to a wonderful man who loves to laugh and keeps me laughing (and smiling).

Mother to my 3 future best friends.

Owner of the world’s funniest-looking dog.

I love to crochet, read, cook and spend time with friends. I have 3 kids, ages 5 – 9, and a wonderful husband. Due to a series of seizures he had 4 years ago, Ben has amnesia and continues to have short-term memory loss. But his sense of humor and wonderful trust in God continue to help us walk through life seeking to please God despite the many difficulties we face.

  1. Looks like a happy family inspite of all the difficulties.Hope you continue to get strength form the love you all have for each other. Keeping a hobby going is a sure way of having a stress free time and getting together the strenght to face anything.
    Regards,
    Sandhya.

  2. Thanks for your Feb. 5 post. I was badly injured at work and dealt with rather horrific persecution and job loss as a result, though the safety issue had been reported repeatedly to management. As a single mom, I have wondered about my future and that of my child in a state where you have to beg for any medical treatment if you’re injured at work, even if you have great health insurance. So, that was comforting, and I am learning those things. When you feel it’s all on your shoulders, you can feel so loaded down, until you remember who bears your burdens and knows your heart, who has a home for you and your child in heaven and a future for you and your child on earth. Thanks for reminding me. I have also shared that with dear friends who are struggling to make ends meet.
